Eine wasserfeste Mascara hält gut, auch wenn sie mit Wasser in Kontakt kommt. Mascara wird normalerweise auf Wasserbasis hergestellt, das gilt jedoch nicht für eine wasserfeste Mascara. Eine wasserfeste Mascara sorgt außerdem dafür, dass deine Wimpern den ganzen Tag schön geschwungen bleiben, dank der speziellen Formel. Eine wasserfeste Mascara kannst du also eigentlich jeden Tag tragen, egal ob du vorhast schwimmen zu gehen oder nicht.


Mascara von früher


Es gibt viele Arten von Mascara, jede für einen anderen gewünschten Effekt. Diese Mascaras haben alle eine unterschiedliche Bürste, die eine etwas größer als die andere. Schon im alten Ägypten wurde Mascara verwendet, man benutzte schwarze Holzkohle, um die Wimpern dunkler zu machen. Die Holzkohle wurde mit anderen Produkten vermischt, damit sie besser hielt, sowohl Männer als auch Frauen taten dies. Obwohl Männer und Frauen historisch gesehen schon sehr lange ihre Wimpern schminkten, gibt es Mascara, wie wir sie kennen, eigentlich erst seit etwa 1900. Erst um 1940 wurde die allererste wasserfeste Mascara erfunden, danach fiel es viel leichter, bei Filmen hemmungslos zu weinen oder einen Regenschauer zu überstehen.


Mascara auftragen und entfernen


Für das schönste Ergebnis kannst du deine Wimpern vor dem Auftragen der Mascara mit einer Wimpernzange schwingen lassen, trage danach 2 Schichten Mascara auf. Möchtest du, dass die Mascara extra lange und schön hält? Dann kannst du zusätzlich eine Mascara-Primer verwenden, dieser dient als eine Art Grundlage für deine Mascara. Achte darauf, deine Mascara vorsichtig zu entfernen, benutze dafür einen Augen-Make-up-Entferner und ein Wattepad. Wische die Mascara vorsichtig von deinen Wimpern ab, es ist wichtig, dies immer vor dem Schlafengehen zu tun. Schlafen mit Mascara sorgt nämlich dafür, dass deine Wimpern brechen, entferne deshalb immer deine Mascara von deinen Wimpern, um dies zu vermeiden.
