UV nail polish has a different formula than regular nail polish, and this formula makes the manicure more durable. This is due to the active ingredients that are released in the gel layer, which will make your nails super shiny and keep them looking beautiful for longer. To cure the gel nail polish, you used to need a special UV lamp, but nowadays this is no longer strictly necessary and you can simply let the nail polish dry normally. However, a UV lamp does provide a better result, making the gel nail polish last longer on the nail. When applying UV nail polish, you use a special base coat and top coat. Applying UV nail polish
Applying UV nail polish requires a bit more work than painting your nails with regular nail polish. But it is easy to do yourself, so you no longer need to go to the nail salon for a beautiful manicure. First, file your nails into a nice shape and also polish the surface of your nails using a polishing block. Then, apply a layer of special gel base coat and let your nails dry under the LED or UV lamp. Next, apply a thin layer of UV nail polish in the color you like. Dry this under the lamp as well; for better coverage, you can apply another layer of the color and must let it dry under the gel nail polish lamp again. Once you have achieved the desired coverage, apply a special gel top coat and let it dry under the lamp again. If you want to remove your UV nail polish, it is best to use a gel nail polish remover. A nail polish remover with a high percentage of acetone or pure acetone will remove gel or UV nail polish most effectively.
