Handcrème zorgt ervoor dat de vochtbalans in jouw handen weer op peil raakt, bovendien gaan je handen er ook nog is heerlijk van ruiken. Om je handen extra te verwennen, kan je ze een kleine handmassage geven. Doe dit door de crème in de handen te masseren, de doorbloeding van je handen komt hierdoor beter op gang. Een handcream helpt ook goed tegen gescheurde nagelriemen, je nagelriemen zijn namelijk vaak de dupe van droge handen. Door ze goed in te smeren kan je losse velletjes en gescheurde nagelriemen voorkomen.

Je handen krijgen veel te verduren, je bent er voortdurend mee in de weer en je doet er bijna alles mee. Het is aan te raden elke keer, na het wassen van je handen een handcrème droge handen op te doen, zorg dus dat je altijd een verzorgende handcrème in je tas hebt zitten. Hoogstwaarschijnlijk was jij je handen erg vaak op een dag, probeer daarom minimaal 2 keer per dag aan te houden. Wanneer je handen nat zijn geweest, drogen ze meer uit. Dit komt door de zeep en warm water, een handcrème voorkomt droge handen. De huid op de rug van onze handen is heel zacht en dun, deze kan dus zonder verzorging snel gaan rimpelen. De palm daarentegen heeft talgklieren, waardoor dit gedeelte minder snel uitdroogt. Dit gebeurd in het algemeen sneller in de winter, wanneer het weer omslaat. Het weer heeft namelijk een grote impact op je huid, drink genoeg water en gebruik de juiste handverzorging om uitdroging te voorkomen.
