Our makeup area, where we sit every morning to get ready, can sometimes be quite a mess. Some of us have more than others... We collect makeup products and our makeup stash just keeps getting bigger and bigger. And the same goes for makeup brushes. There are so many nowadays, and we use a different brush for each makeup product. This is where a makeup brush holder is the ideal solution for storing them. All your makeup brushes in one place, so you'll never lose them again! And it also looks much nicer and more organized.

Makeup brushes

There are so many different brushes available nowadays; concealer brush, kabuki brush/kabuki brush, powder brush, eyebrow brush, highlighter brush, contour brush, blush brush, bronzer brush, eyeshadow brush, stippling brush, fan brush, foundation brush/foundation brush, setting brush, blending brush, facial cleansing brush and makeup sponge. These brushes are all intended for a different makeup product. You can also buy a brush set, which contains several different brushes. A makeup brush set is also a great gift for someone!

Clean brushes

But despite looking more organized, it is also better for the brushes. Makeup brushes can quickly become very dirty when you use them a lot, as makeup residue or even bacteria can get on the brush. The next time you use the makeup brushes, you will simply smear this dirt onto your face. This can clog your pores and even cause pimples or inflamed skin. So clean your brushes regularly. You can easily clean your makeup brushes with a brush cleanser, which is a soap specially developed for quickly and thoroughly cleaning your makeup brushes. Put some of the soap in a bowl with (cold or lukewarm) water—no hot water, as this damages the brushes! Don't have any brush cleanser soap at home? Replace the soap with (baby) shampoo, which also works very well for cleaning the bristles. Just make sure you let the makeup brushes dry thoroughly after cleaning your makeup brushes. When you try to apply a makeup brush while it is wet, it will not create a natural effect and will instead leave streaks and patches.
