Lorsque le fond de teint est arrivé sur le marché, il avait une texture argileuse. Étant si gras, il était difficile à étaler et donnait souvent un effet masque. Au fil du temps, cette texture est devenue de plus en plus fluide, jusqu'aux fonds de teint que nous connaissons aujourd'hui.
Fond de teint couvrant
Le fond de teint liquide existe avec différents niveaux de couvrance, d'une couvrance légère à une couvrance forte. Cela désigne en réalité la capacité du fond de teint à camoufler ta peau et ses imperfections. Si tu as beaucoup d'imperfections, ou par exemple des rougeurs que tu préfères masquer, une couvrance plus forte sera peut-être parfaite pour toi. Si tu préfères un look plus naturel, ou que tu as par exemple des taches de rousseur que tu aimes montrer, une couvrance plus légère te conviendra probablement mieux.
Protection solaire
Aujourd'hui, la plupart des fonds de teint liquides ne sont plus du tout aussi mauvais pour la peau qu'on le pensait autrefois. Comme la plupart des fonds de teint liquides contiennent désormais un léger SPF (indice de protection solaire), tu es entre autres protégée contre un minimum de rayons UV. Les fonds de teint liquides contiennent aujourd'hui aussi souvent des vitamines et des minéraux qui protègent ta peau, voire l'améliorent.
Appliquer le fond de teint
Le fond de teint liquide peut s'appliquer de différentes manières et avec différents outils. Alors qu'on utilisait autrefois souvent nos mains, on préfère aujourd'hui un pinceau à fond de teint ou une éponge à maquillage. Veille bien à travailler avec des mains et du matériel propres afin d'éviter les irritations. Applique toujours ton fond de teint en mouvements circulaires et presse doucement le produit dans la peau, ainsi ton fond de teint se fondra le mieux possible avec ta peau. Il est également important de commencer l'application au centre du visage, puis de travailler vers l'extérieur. Cela garantit l'effet le plus naturel.
Retirer le fond de teint
En plus de choisir et d'appliquer le fond de teint, il est aussi important de bien le retirer. Pour un résultat optimal, la plupart des experts beauté recommandent de ne pas garder ton fond de teint plus de 12 heures. Cela varie toutefois beaucoup selon le type de fond de teint et la méthode d'application. Pour un résultat optimal, applique toujours une crème de jour avant d'appliquer le fond de teint. Après avoir retiré ton fond de teint, il est également bon d'appliquer une crème hydratante.
